About the Artist
I am a Birmingham based artist who specialises in Pet Portraiture, through the medium of acrylic paint on canvas. I have a BA in Fine Art and Psychology which enabled me to see the impact that art has on the mind, as well as inspiring me to use this to spread joy. Having experienced and witnessed the huge benefits that art and creating art has on people's mental health, I wanted to be a part of allowing more people to access this. Therefore, I completed by MA in Art Therapy and I am now working as a qualified Art Psychotherapist. I continue to engage with my creative practice within Pinkney’s Paintings, taking commissions and selling one-of-a-kind pieces.
