Cat Regi (AKA Badibidu)
About the Artist
Cat Regi, known as Badibidu, paints vibrant, nature-inspired watercolours and mixed media artworks that celebrate the beauty of colour, light and pattern. Working from her family home in the Peak District, her work explores imperfection, texture, and organic forms, informed by a lifetime of observing detail in places she has called home, from Devon to Italy, Yorkshire to South Wales. Guided by the unpredictable interactions of pigment, water and paper, her paintings evolve dynamically, embracing antiperfection as an essential part of the creative process and her teaching. Cat is proud to create meaningful and accessible art, and this has led to collaborations with Scope (the charity for disability equality) and Kings College London. Through her art and social media presence, she also highlights neurodivergent perspectives and the importance of community and creativity.
