Charlotte Thomson-Morley (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and community arts workshop facilitator based in Nottingham (UK). Charlotte’s work explores the interplay between nature, folklore, spirit of place and cultivating our sense of belonging through shared stories.
'Maid Marian'
Description: Based on iconic Nottinghamshire legend, this piece combines Art Nouveau inspired imagery with a modern sensibility, hand-painted onto marbled paper. Maid Marian's legend is transformed in a modern era as a hero in her own right, a figure of empowerment and protection.
