Evgenia Smirnova
About the Artist
Evgenia Smirnova is a contemporary artist and painter based in Italy. Born in Saint Petersburg, she developed her artistic practice in Sicily, where she studied at the private art school of Sicilian painter Salvo Coglitori. She later completed the Mastery Program at Milan Art Institute (online course).
Working across watercolor and painting, Smirnova explores imagined landscapes, nature, solitude, freedom, and the relationship between the visible world and inner experience. Her practice combines poetic imagery with an intuitive approach to color and atmosphere, creating dreamlike environments that exist between reality and imagination.
