Trained at Southampton school of art and later with artist Ed Wesson who taught her watercolour techniques. She drew inspiration from landscapes and seascapes, and later in her career she taught children with special educational needs, and on painting retreats for adults in Greece. This painting captures a typical Greek fishing village which she painted en plein air. She was known for forgetting to sign her paintings.
