This intriguing piece is by Lindy Norton whose drawing and printmaking work generates images that appear as captured moments from a story. 📖
Lindy often works with dimly lit interiors and enchanting landscapes, enjoying and exploring the intrigue of implied presence or absence.💡
Lindy says:
'Hopefully my work goes beyond pure imagery…. building intrigue, sometimes romantic, sometimes disturbing, depending on the imagery that springboards the idea.
From an elevated vantage point I enjoy the drama of long, low sun shadows. Having always been drawn to the subtlety and drama of light. The printmaking mediums of dry point and Aquatint etching enable me to realize high contrasting and tightly defined images from the urban environment.'
