Nadia Attura is an acclaimed London-based fine artist whose multi-layered practice dissolves the boundary between documentary realism and painterly surrealism. Grounded in a background in photojournalism, Attura journeys globally to collect precise photographic fragments on location, capturing everything from the geometry of desert flora to the texturing of ancient stone. In her studio, she strips these documentary elements of their original contexts, hand-collaging and layering them into complex, dreamlike tableaus. By directly applying physical washes of paint, ink, and chalk onto the composition, she bathes her ethereal landscapes in a nostalgic, vintage pastel palette, offering viewers an immersive, deeply poetic escape into a world somewhere between imagination and memory.

Her work has been selected for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition across multiple years (including 2016, 2019, 2023, and 2024), and she was exclusively commissioned by the Affordable Art Fair

to create their official 25th Anniversary screen print. Attura's work features in exhibitions across London, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, and has earned acclaim in major global publications including VOGUE, The New York Times, The Guardian, and Aesthetica Magazine.
