About the Artist
Natasha is a nature-based arts therapist based in Amber Valley, Derbyshire.
Natasha says:
'In lock-down I rediscovered the joy of experimenting and playing with paint. I explore intuitively with mixed media through abstraction and semi-abstraction. I love the process of adding and subtracting layers of paint, lively and loose drawn marks, collage and dried flowers and leaves. I am inspired by organic shapes and forms, usually trees and rock forms, as well as how it feels to be fully immersed in my nature self.'
'She Tree'
Description: 'There is a magnificent Sweet Chestnut tree in the grounds of
Bramcote Leisure Centre, Notts. Whilst waiting for my child to come out of her swimming lesson, this tree and I would hang out together. This grandmother Chestnut inspired this painting and was the first I created in lockdown.'
