Sara Hughes Parry
About the Artist
Sara is a contemporary ceramic artist based in Nottingham. Her practice treats clay as a therapeutic and deeply expressive medium, drawing inspiration from her own emotions, mental health journeys, and the evolution of the self. Working out of her home studio, she builds small-batch, meticulous works by hand, exploring both abstract forms and surreal, narrative-driven clay creatures.
Her distinct body of work ranges from functional tableware and interactive moon-faced bells to large, conceptual "Anxiety Vessels" and "Emotional Conduit Sculptures". Characterized by illustrative brushwork, whimsical floating figures, and subtle lustres, her creations intentionally embrace the quirks, fingerprints, and natural imperfections of hand-building to give each piece its own distinct human personality.

Our charity auction is an online silent auction which means you will not be able to see how many others have submitted bids or for what amount so please bid the maximum you would be willing to pay for the artwork.
