'Movement in the sea'
Description: There is a lot of movement in the sea, and also a lot of different textures and colours. This is an artwork I did a long while ago, rediscovered and found new appreciation for. I used whatever materials I could get my hands on, and for once had no fixed plan, just had a play, keeping the sea in mind.

'Sea Tear'
Description: The piece of sea glass was given to me b a colleague who had picked it up by the sea. I decided to experiment setting it in silver wire by crocheting the silver wire around the sea glass.
Materials: Sea glass and sterling silver wire

'Through the rain'
Description: I had attended an art trail and felt inspired to play with acrylic paint using a small spatula on some cardboard. Was just experimenting on the different textures and marks I could make with the spatula. It may or may not have been raining at the time.
Materials: Acrylic paint on cardboard, mounted on black foam board

'Through the rain'
Description: I had attended an art trail and felt inspired to play with acrylic paint using a small spatula on some cardboard. I was playing with putting a colour on each side of the spatula and creating textured peaks.

'Autumn in stone'
Description: The silver well bead is made from carving wax into a shape and casting it in silver. Tiny glass rods are broken to be carefully placed into roman stucco coloured with natural oxides. The roman stucco is left for 3 to 4 weeks to set, where the glass rods are then polished back to remove sharp edges. The twine is pleated in a simple 5 way pleat, a bracelet that can be sized to any wrist.
Materials: Sterling Silver, glass rods, roman stucco and twin

The twine is pleated in a simple 5 way pleat, a bracelet that can be sized to any wrist. Silver wire is then crocheted into the twine to add texture to the bracelet.
